Join us for 4 days of exciting events. With Mart loading in on Friday, Early Bird & Auction on Friday, Mart on Saturday and Sunday with over 700 mart tables loaded with an array of horological items on display and for sale.
WWT (Worldwide Traders, Watch & Jewelry) will have their show on Thursday & Friday from 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 pm. Please keep in mind, WWT 2nd day is Friday in conjunction with our mart set up and the Early Bird on Friday. They also will be renting watch cases and safes to NAWCC members.

We are trying to arrange buses to pick you up at the ESE and return you there. We need a minimum of 30 people for each tour to make this work. Information and applications will be sent out. Stay tuned for further details.
WELCOME RECEPTION & KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Thursday late afternoon/evening June 27, 2019.Come join us for a social hour and buffet (tickets available on registration form) followed by the key note speaker. You must pre-register for this reception, so we have an accurate count for the food. No walk-ins will be accommodated. Everyone is welcome to the Keynote address at 7 pm, No Charge. No registration required.
Throughout the 3 days at the BLC we have many different lectures planned mostly on the New England clock and watch makers. Don’t miss these first time presentations. Please check the website from mid-February on. We will be listing programs and times and additions each month.

THE CRAFTS COMPETITION:
Will be held at the National Convention in West Springfield, MA —June 28 2019– June 30 2019. It will be an excellent opportunity for all craftspeople to have their work judged against that of their peers.
All classes will be judged by qualified experts. We will have our annual “People’s Choice” award, which will be determined by ballot. Ballots will be in the crafts exhibit area and can be cast for your favorite entry in the Crafts Competition. A ribbon will be attached to the winning item in the crafts exhibit area after judging has taken place. The People’s Choice winner receives a trophy at the evening banquet. Don’t miss this one of a kind exhibit. This exhibit will focus on the Connecticut clock/watches, and how it changed the clock and watch making in New England where it all started. We have planned a multi-purpose exhibit which centers on America's contribution to world horology. On display will be a complete history from 1750 to 1895 of foreign clocks, American Clocks and foreign and American watches. Watches will include the colonial watches, the American early development Ca 1850 through the development of the "dollar" watch" including character watches. Hopefully we will be telling the important stories behind the artifacts. Many of the artifacts will be rare and important items.
There will be many silent auctions during Saturday and Sunday. There also will be a not so silent auction where items are displayed during the mart and you can bid up to a certain time when the bell rings.

Join us for a fun social hour and then a delicious sit down dinner followed by the Awards Presentation including the winners of the Craft Contest.
During the MeetingThe BLC has a CAFÉ-Grill Restaurant and a Dunkin Donuts which will be open from Thursday- Sunday during mart hours.
Door Prizes, Mart and Gift Shop bucks will be raffled off during the Mart. Along with 50/50 Raffles will be held.
NAWCC Gift Shop be set up in the mart room.
The Door Prize tables will be set up near the Gift Shop. This is where you claim your door prizes.
Mart Central Is located in the center of the room near the Silent Auction. Here announcements can be made and a lost and found will be set up. We also have first aid kits if you need a band aid or ointment.
NOTE: NO DOLLIES OR CARTS ARE AVAILABLE at THE BLC Please bring your own.
NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED FOR ON SITE REGISTRATION only CHECKS and CASH (There are 2 ATM’s on the Premises).
PARKING FEE: There is a $5.00 fee for parking per day. The ESE will collect the fee at the gate and give you a pass for the day including in and out privileges. (This fee is mandatory by the Eastern States Exposition, Nawcc has nothing to do with this).
REGISTRATION You can download your Registration form, a list of table holders and the table layout for you to choose your table. When you choose your table be sure to give your second choice for people will be registering from different methods.

CANCELLATION POLICY: All refunds decisions will be made by the Chair(s). If you need to cancel we will try to honor all requests postmarked or emailed at least 30 days before the meeting. Each request will be evaluated by the Chair. Other requests for refunds after this date will be considered by the Chair and, depending on the reason, refunds may be issued for registrations. Refunds for tables, banquets, receptions and luncheons will be considered after the convention. If we can sell your tickets or table we will issue a refund.

THE OFFICIAL STATUS OF NON-HOROLOGICAL ITEMS AT NATIONALS AND REGIONALS HAS CHANGED
An important change to the Regional Meeting Guide has been approved by the NAWCC Board of Directors at their December 2017 meeting. The new RMG language is as follows: Table holders will offer for sale items primarily of Horological interest and ensure that non-Horological items in the mart are appropriate for NAWCC events and of interest to the members, as determined by the respective event Convention Mart Chair or Regional Meeting Chair. Additionally, certain items, such as barometers and other weather-related gauges, have been permitted at Meetings on the grounds that such devices have often been paired with timepieces throughout history. Music boxes and automata both have mt-decoration:noneechanisms similar to clocks and are also permitted. No weaponry is permitted.
- The ONLY PERSONAL PERMITTED RIDING CONVEYANCES ALLOWED IN THE MART ROOM are those necessitated by persons with mobility disabilities as prescribed by their physicians.
- NO SMOKING, INCLUDING E-CIGARETTES, PERMITTED ANYWHERE IN THE BUILDING
- OUTSIDE FOOD OR GLASS ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING
- SMOKING OUTSIDE IN DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY
- REGISTERED SERVICE DOGS ALLOWED IN MART ROOM
- THERE ARE NO DOLLIES OR CARTS AVAILABLE.

** HELP BRING NEW MEMBERS TO THE NATIONAL CONVENTION **
We are inviting all members to bring your friends, family & neighbors to the 2019 NAWCC National Convention in Springfield, MA. To raise their interest in Clocks, Watches, Horology and Camaraderie and become NAWCC members at a special introductory rate.
This is for NEW FIRST TIME MEMBERS only. They will receive all NAWCC benefits for one year and entrance into the convention and the mart for $120.00 (all lectures, programs, the auction, and Annual Meeting Continental Breakfast). The new member will receive the Watch & Clock Bulletin and the MART magazines 6 times a year also will have full access to the website. Plus they will also be able to use their membership card to get into any of the ASTC ~ Association of Science and Technology Centers at little or no cost. (Check out the ASTC PASSPORT PROGRAM).
Note: The Springfield Science Museum has a $25.00 admission fee. With your Nawcc card you will be admitted free. This is a $25.00 saving.
